Some agents still offer seniors to go on Plan F because it’s the “best plan” but we already have a number of smart consumers nowadays looking at Plan G for the best value.
Plan G covers everything the standard Plan F covers except that it does not cover the Medicare Part B deductible ($183 for 2017). Plan G monthly premiums are typically much less expensive than the Plan F premiums.
Medicare Supplement Plan G will likely remain the most popular plan for 2017, and with good reason. Plan G offers fantastic coverage and your only out-of-pocket expense is the annual Part B deductible.
You may be turning 65 in the next 12 months or you already have a Medicare Supplement plan and don’t want to continue overpaying, we can definitely help.
Look at your options before you commit to a plan, but if Plan F appeals to you, give Plan G a second look. You may find that you will save money in the long run by choosing it instead. You don’t lose much coverage with it, and it tends to be far more affordable.
